I'm the WORLD
My life is a continuous journey. I keep learning and growing through my experiences with the world, and I express this through my art, sharing the history of my journey with others.
Various natural landscapes, places, and even the exhibition space itself are all part of my journey, with the audience participating in this history. My work carries the intention of inspiring people to live their own lives courageously through the story of my own journey.
My work, which has continuously evolved, is now composed of painted paper, taking the form of flower veins or the shapes of the universe. When these elements come together, they can appear like terrestrial plants, deep-sea creatures, or even extraterrestrial beings.
My work represents my entire life within a universe where the history of each moment is intertwined. Through my art, the audience can celebrate and connect with the history of that moment.
My work embodies not just my life but also the harmony of the universe. It doesn’t merely convey a concept but offers a powerful visual experience, akin to gazing upon the beauty of nature. Through my work, people can share in a multisensory connection with the artist, without the need for extensive explanation. I have a philosophy of approaching art with a pure, childlike mind. When I create, I feel as if I’m returning to the innocence of my childhood. Indeed, while my work carries a certain weight, it also holds the charm of being crafted like a child’s handmade creation. I believe people will engage with my work not just for a moment, but for a significant amount of time.
People often face external challenges and easily forget their inner selves. I am confident that when they engage with my work, they will feel the pure heart and passion emerging from deep within. People need that time to reconnect with themselves.
내 삶은 계속해서 여행 중이다. 나는 세상을 배우고 성장하며, 그 과정을 작품을 통해 표현하고, 사람들과 그 역사를 나눈다.
다양한 자연과 장소, 그리고 전시장 자체가 나의 여정의 일부이며, 관객은 그 역사에 참여하게 된다. 내 삶의 여정을 통해 사람들에게 자신의 삶을 용기 있게 살아갈 수 있도록 영감을 주고자 하는 의도를 담고 있다.
지속적으로 발전해 온 나의 작업은 이제 채색된 종이로 이루어져, 꽃의 잎맥이나 우주의 형태로 표현된다. 그것들을 모두 합치면 때로는 육상 식물처럼, 바다 밑 생물처럼, 또는 외계인처럼 보이기도 한다.
내 작업은 순간의 역사가 결합된 우주 속에서 내 삶 전체를 나타낸다. 내 작품을 통해 관객은 그 순간의 역사를 축하하고 공감할 수 있다.
나의 작품은 나의 삶뿐만 아니라 우주와 조화도 담고 있다. 단순히 개념을 전달하는 것이 아니라, 아름다운 자연을 바라보는 것처럼 쉽게 느낄 수 있는 강력한 시각적 효과를 제공한다. 내 작업을 통해 사람들은 별다른 설명 없이 시각을 포함한 공감각적으로 작가와 교감할 수 있다. 나는 어린아이처럼 순수한 마음으로 예술에 접근하고 싶다는 철학을 가지고 있다. 이 작업을 할 때 나는 순수한 어린 시절로 돌아간 듯한 느낌이 든다. 사실 이 작품을 보면 작품 전체의 무게를 느낄 수 있지만, 자세히 들여다보면 어린아이의 수공예품처럼 만들어진 느낌도 함께 담겨 있다. 사람들은 내 작업을 잠깐이 아니라 꽤 오랫동안 지켜보게 될 것이다.
사람들은 많은 외부 문제에 직면하고, 그로 인해 내면을 잊기 쉽다. 그러나 그들이 내 작품과 함께하는 순간, 그 순간에서 내면 깊은 곳에서 나오는 순수한 마음과 열정을 동시에 느낄 수 있을 것이라고 나는 확신한다. 사람들에게는 그러한 시간이 필요하다.
